A New Season

It's hard to describe what has happened with our family over the past 8-10 months. I guess the best attempt is to say we have entered a new season. There is no question that God has been preparing our family to adopt an International child...and we have finally been obedient. In early January, 2008 we turned in our Preliminary Application to Adoption Associates, Inc. out of Jenison, Michigan to proceed with adopting a little girl out of Ethiopia. I can't begin to explain the joy that fills our hearts knowing that we will have the privilege of adding a little girl into our family. And not only that, but she will have the opportunity to stretch us and teach us like no other. Sahara keeps talking about "her new baby sister". She's already turned the page and is ready to update her room with a new bunkbed! We can't wait to share this journey with you. Thank you for your prayers as we take one step at a time through this new season in our lives.
