It made it!

We received an email from our agency today saying our Dossier made it to Ethiopia last Friday! Our understanding is that the documents are there and are currently being translated into Amheric--Ethiopia's main language. We have 11 families ahead of us all adopting a child in the same age range we requested.

So...the wait begins.

Right now, I wouldn't trade this part of the process!

We need a breather! Espcecially as Sahara starts PreK on September 2nd and turns 4 years old on September 7th.

Where has the time gone!

Wow, you can take a little breather knowing your waiting is about to begin. How do you know what # you are on 'the list'?

Where is S doing pre-K? (Might not want to post the answer to that on here--you can send me an e-mail).

How are you doing on funds for the upcoming trip? Our process is going to quickly that we're doing OK, but more time = more money we can tuck away for the big $$$ part on the back-end of this process, so for us it's a race! Drop me a line:

My husband and I live just west of GR, have one daugther too. My mom is recovering from Cancer and we are adopting a daughter from Ethiopia through AAI as well. We are not as far along as you, but still seems as if we have bit in common. I would be very grateful if you ever felt like sending me an email. It would be good to know someone on a simular journey.
