Monday morning will be a huge day for our family! Sahara and I will get up and drive out to Jenison to deliver our payment of $4,478 to get our Dossier overseas to Ethiopia. We already have everything in place so that when I hand in our check our Agency will be able to Fed-Ex our documents overseas that day! I can hardly believe we are to this point. And I can honestly say this has been one of the most difficult journeys of my life thus far. But, fortunately, God has been affirming this decision left and right along the way and now we can sit back and breathe easier while we wait! What are we waiting for, you ask? Within the next 4-6 months our phone will ring and on the other line will be our Ethiopian Program Manager. She will be relaying some of the best news of our lives--that they have a referral for us! At that moment we will know who our Ethiopian daughter will be--her name, we will get a picture of her, and a few medical records. We cannot wait!
God has been so gracious to us and has provided every step of the way. Soon, there will be one less fatherless child in this world.

No way! Wow, things are moving. God is moving. He wants this to happen!
We feel like we're right behind you nipping at your heels. We got our letters assigning us our fingerprinting date today. 8/28 are our fingerprints, and it could be just a month or so after that when the approval comes back and we'll be doing the whole great seal and Dossier thing too. Isn't this process just flooring you constantly? So glad GOD is in control and not me...He's certainly orchestrating a sweet tune for all of us.
