We're waiting....she's waiting too!

So many people ask how difficult it is to just wait? Well...yes it's not easy, but the one thing that helps my wait is knowing that there's a little girl somewhere in Ethiopia also waiting. Waiting to be loved. Forever. By the same people every day. She wants to know that they will be there. That they will not abandon her. That she is safe. That she will be fed. Clothed. Bathed. Have a story read to her. Have her first ice cream cone from Jersey Junction!

So...we will wait. And we will press hard into all of the last things we need to accomplish so that we can someday meet this little one that will forever be a part of our family. Thank you, Jesus, for this very humbling experience. And thank you for protecting this little one until the day that we can meet her and hold her for the very first time.

Oh...and the picture above is Sahara on her swingset in the backyard...waiting to share it with her baby sister!!
