So...it's official. I hope. We are now booked with confirmed seats to Ethiopia. We are departing the States out of Chicago on Saturday, January 9th. We will arrive in Ethiopia early Sunday evening.
It was not an easy feet to get seats on these flights. Everything we could find was waitlisted. Either 2 of us had seats on the way home or only 1 of us. The airfare went down a titch but it was still more than we had expected to pay. But at this point none of that matters.
It feels so good to be able to say that we actually have tickets. Even after passing court it still didn't feel that real. Now, after being diligent, it finally feels tangible. In a few weeks Brian and I will be boarding a plane outbound for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. And when we come back to the United States we will be accompanied by our daughter, Ayantu. Oh dear Jesus, please help Ayantu to attach with us and love us!
Still no word back on Ayantu's TB test or the I 171H document. We are simply proceeding in faith that those details will be worked out! Thanks for praying.
